RULES & REGULATIONS
PRELIMINARY ROUND
The details for the preliminary round of Public Speaking (ELF 2018) are as followed;
Date : 15th November 2018
Time : 08:00 p.m
Venue: WDKU
THEME
Participants are free to present ANY TOPIC as long as they are not touching on sensitive issues such as religion and politics.
TIMING
Each participant is given 3 to 5 minutes to speak. The bell will ring ONCE (third minute) before the time ends and TWICE (fifth minute) when the time is over.
MARKING
Marks are given based on the following criteria:
i) Language
ii) Content
iii) Organization
iv) Delivery
FINAL ROUND
The details for the final round of Public Speaking (ELF 2018) are as followed;
Date : 17th November 2018
Time : (After Poem Recitation has ended)
Venue: WDKU
THEME
Ten (10) participants will be selected for the FINAL ROUND. The theme for the final round will be announced to the participants after the PRELIMINARY ROUND has ended.
